OpenRouter has become a cornerstone in all my AI work. I keep up with all the newest models there, and use the API in production apps, switching models whenever better option becomes available. I also enter my OpenRouter API into Jan on lightweight laptops and old netbooks without GPUs, to immediately use any model that's available on OpenRouter, on virtually any system. This setup is wickedly productive and fast to install anywhere.
