A trend I'm watching develop is real-time voice interaction, combined with full computer control. GPT Realtime 2 from OpenAI seems to be at the forefront of that market right now:

With this sort of agent, instead of typing anything, you just talk, and the agent completes anything you discuss, on your computer. That includes everything from mundane routine daily operations, communications, etc., to very complicated long horizon tasks.
This sort of agent could potentially be really helpful for many of my clients who have trouble managing daily heavy workloads. When voice+computer control gets better, I think it will fundamentally change how humans work with tech.
Here's another video which shows another demo with GPT Realtime 2:

I think setting up that sort of agent for my clients' staff may really help reduce stress for owners/managers. The idea is that every employee could have a capable technical helper which not only answers questions like ChatGPT, but also can actually complete all sorts of daily tasks which are technically troublesome, time consuming, etc. The key is that users don't need to type anything, understand any underlying tech, or even sit at a computer.
There are some big companies already seeing fantastic success with GPT Realtime 2 in online support roles. They're using it to help online users with tech support issues.
